I worked as an Environmental Health Practitioner, a law enforcement officer, and an acting Operational Manager with 12 years of extensive knowledge and experience across various environmental Health and food Safety disciplines. I am interested in leveraging my experience, knowledge, and synergistic acumen within a progressive, professional setting in private, governmental organisations, or non-profit organisations. I have completed the Graduate Diploma of Engineering (Civil) with the University of Witwatersrand, BSc. Honors in Environmental Management (UNISA) and both my National Diploma and B- Tech degree in Environmental Health with (TUT). I have knowledge and understanding of the HACCP, Municipal By-Laws, National Health Act, National Environmental Management Acts, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Implementation and OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Auditing, EIA, and Project Management. I have extensive knowledge and experience in food safety management by ensuring that both the food Informal and Formal sectors are monitored to ensure the safe handling of food during production, storage, and delivery of these foodstuffs. Training of both informal and formal food premises is conducted to ensure that are aware of the legal requirement and to improve compliance. Evaluation of food premises and food transportation vehicles and issuing of Certificate of Acceptability to compliant premises, as well as monitoring compliance with legal requirements and instituting remedial measures where necessary. Licensing of food premises condemnation of unsafe foods and ensuring the sale and supply of safe meat and milk. And I have inspected of all imported foodstuff for compliance with Foodstuff, Cosmetics, hazardous Substances, and Disinfectant Act 54 0f 1972. Ensuring that Imported food stuff or cosmetics contravening with the South African Regulations detained to protect the health of the public.
