We are a healthy, married South African couple writing to apply for the position as a managing couple. Our goal is to better our future as well as our two children’s who want to further their studies in South Africa while we work abroad. I, Marelize Acker am a wife, home executive and mother. I have many years of experience working with and managing teams of employees ie: cleaning teams, security teams, building and maintenance teams and sales teams. I am a hands-on person who does not mind getting my hands dirty and working with the people I manage. I managed and implemented systems for an office at a shopping centre for many years. Because of the nature of this business, new challenges were the order of every day and thus an ongoing learning experience with customer service being the number one priority. Between managing our home, my children and my job I believe that I have gained the knowledge and experience to handle many situations in our everyday lives. I, Nico Acker have many years of experience in many practical fields. I ran my own construction and maintenance business with multiple teams for many years. In this time I have gained the knowledge and experience to work with clients and employees. I have acquired the ability to plan jobs and logistics and prevention and solving of many different challenging problems. I have a practical way of thinking and a “never give up” attitude. I have a vast knowledge and experience in the maintenance field. I love working outside and have a love for the outdoors. With our wide range of knowledge and experience that we have gained in many different fields and over many years, we believe that we can as a couple be an asset to your company. We are very willing and able to broaden our experience and knowledge with any new challenge that we might be presented with.
