I am a vibrant, hardworking and fast learning young adult with energy for new ideas and challenges. I am passionate about Food Science and the potential which lies in the knowledge of food to impact the life quality and nutrition of people all around the world. I thrive in the development of new products & flavours to serve consumers nutritionally and sensorially whilst exploiting local resources. In my research, I have gained some experience with the processing of fruit purees & juices as well as experimenting with nutritionally dense plant-based food products & flavours and enjoy the nutrition and science thereof. With my little exposure to the food industry and research thus far, I am excited by the potential that lies in the partnership of the food industry and academia as well as gaining more experience in both industry and research to better understand how Food Scientists can be responsible for the well-being of all individuals.
