I arrived in Cape Town in December 2013 to set about on a journey to tell deeply meaningful South African stories; with film as the chosen medium. My strategy from the beginning, was to take a builders approach: I started by laying a solid foundation to build a career on. I tried out many departments in the film industry to get a feel and idea of how they work at their best; and learning from their mistakes. I then had to fight to build my pillars to establish myself in the industry, with many learnings along the way. I am now at the point where I feel the need to start making my own projects as well has collaborating with others. One step closer to achieving my goals, visions and dreams.
