Good day, I have gained over 20 years’ experience in the the technical industry, in various sectors, from Cars to Heavy Earth Moving and Diesel Generators. I started my career in 1994 as a Stock Controller and have progressed through the “ranks” as Parts Sales, Parts Manager, Warehouse Manager, Supply Chain Management to my last position in Production Planning. I have gained experience with Mercedes Benz, Deutz and John Deere, Cummins, Mitsubishi, and Volvo diesel engines, Alison transmissions, ZF Transmissions, final drives and differentials. Additionally, I have also gained experience on hydraulic systems. In my last position as Production Planner, I also gained vast experience in planning and scheduling, as such, I designed an “automated” schedule, drawing from the SQL server that tracked all jobs, tracked their progress and provided information regarding critical components, this schedule was invaluable in the efforts of my last employer to qualify for ISO9001 accreditation. In addition to creating and maintaining the production schedule, I also created an automated report that updated minimum and maximum stock levels, based on historical movement, it also took into account components required for upcoming production jobs, giving the buyers a consolidated report on which to base their orders. This last position also required my involvement with mechanical design (CAD and SolidWorks), sheet metal work, laser cutting, welding, powder coating and numerous other production functions. I am a motivated person with excellent planning ability to ensure that goals are met according to deadlines. I am able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and at all levels of management. I believe that with these years of experience gained, given the opportunity, I could be an asset to you and your business.
