I have sat as part of many executive committees contributing and defining the strategic direction of the company. I have manged delivery and am solution driven with the ability to focus on the strategic picture as well as understand what it takes to execute detail delivery. I have 23 years’ project management experience and 16 years programme management experience managing programme budgets of up to 240 million rand with 31 sub projects. I have managed project teams as large as 120 direct project reports or 215 indirect project reports. I have managed all programme and project management staff and delivery execution in the Sasol IM division, including strategy, staffing, budgeting and prioritisation. I have enabled the setup of PMO structures whilst in FNB and Sasol. I have over 9 years direct operational and line management experience managing both divisions and capacity in high performing teams. I have directly managed FNB Homeloans Operations and FNB Easyplan Operations and I have a very good understanding of the ITSM processes allowing a keen understanding as to the impacts that programmes and projects has on the environment. I have a strong consulting background and strong banking experience and have managed programmes and projects across both infrastructure and applications areas and across multiple industries (Banking, Primary Energy, Oil and Gas, Mining, Security, Metals, FMCG and pharmaceutical) as well as multiple continents (Germany, Isle of Man, India and United States of America) again with a distinct focus on the Banking industry. I have delivered compliance projects in the South African Reserve Bank BSTD and SPMO area having exposure to central banking. I also have set up Globus banking systems in Africa. Having actively managed most areas of the Software Development Life Cycle and having completed my MBA and PMP exams, I have integrated many frameworks such as AGILE, PMBOK, BRMBOK, COBIT®5 and TOGAF and utilised project and programme methodologies like MSP, Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum, Prince 2, SAP ASAP and Activate. I have a Green belt in Six Sigma and have completed and Masters in Business Administration.
