I have been a Business consultant since May 2017 assisting companies by analysing their current state of all business processes to identify the needs of the company from a process improvement point of view; Rationalising, streamlining and re-engineering of business processes, this includes the assessments of office space and administration process flow using Lean tools to analyse and identify waste. The implementation of improved processed flows resulted in increased efficiency, reduced costs, and a notable increase in before tax profits; Analysing of warehouse processes, both material and documentation flow in order to implement minimum, maximum stock holding levels. Thereby resulting in the reduction of obsolete and excess inventory and improving turnaround time from receiving to dispatch. More importantly improving the Days of Stock KPI; Leading Kaizen events with employees to ensure acceptance of change management from all employees involved; Analysing and improvement of Bill of Materials and costing thereof; Ensure Safety Standards and Standard operating procedures implemented in processes where required; Recommendation of appropriate KPI’s that will assist the business to monitor and evaluate the progress of systems implemented. Achievements • Successfully implemented Lean principles at a Neumatics company , project were extended from only Supply processes to various other business processes and took 16 months till completion. • Managing Supply processes at BAW South Africa, re-implement procedures and processes • Assist with layout and moving of stock to new warehouse, in dedicated bin locations • Trained procurement staff and newly appointed Supply Manager on all procurement processes
