About Martin ? Software development has the potential to change people's lives, to really make a difference in our daily lives overall. The opportunities that it has to offer is endless, I am able to bring my idea's to life, which is what really excites me about it. Overall I am a great communicator and work well as an individual and as part of a team. I take pride in my work and the projects that I deliver on. Unlike most developers I am also Extroverted and find it easy to present projects, talk to crowds, and network... I love learning new things and understanding different cultures. I am fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English. But I also understand a few other languages like Xhosa and Zulu. How I keep my skills sharp## I spend most of my time coding in C# and Python developing Websites, Data scraping and cleaning projects, and developing trading algorithms. I also keep up to date with most of the trending technology and languages to keep my skills sharp. I am currently working, on developing a Digital Marketing system in C#, that helps businesses directly generate leads and sales, using various mainstream tools and which interfaces with various social media like Facebook, LinkedIn etc. and scraping & data cleaning tools in python. The goal of this project is to create a business hub, where businesses can communicate with other businesses and to customers directly through the online portal. As well as have access to Information, Courses & Tutorials that makes it easy to learn complicated concepts like Facebook ads, Google Ad-words & Copy-writing etc. all in one place. Most of the time when I'm not coding, I usually like to play chess, go to gym, go to networking events, read or simply spend time with friends. I love continuous improvement both mentally and physically I'm a very humble, easy going, and hard working person. That enjoys being around those that are passionate about what they do. I always go the extra mile on everything I do, and have a very competitive nature with myself where I always try do better than the previous day, year or project
