I'm Masia, an architectural draughtsperson trainee. I aim to register with SACAP as a candidate architectural draughtsperson and eventually upgrade to the professional category. SACAP mandates that candidates must work under the supervision of a mentor registered in a professional category equal to or above the candidate's. With over three years of hands-on experience in an architectural firm, supplemented by freelance work for a month, I've gained extensive exposure to the built environment industry. Throughout my tenure, I've collaborated closely with architects on various projects, honing my skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit for documentation and building modeling. Additionally, I've contributed as a junior draughtsman in a consulting company and furthered my expertise as a junior architectural technologist in an interior design firm.
