I am an HR Business Partner with 1 2 years’ Strategic HR Generalist experience gained in the Utilities, FMCG, ICT and Retail Industries. My role has been to has been to partner with one or more Executive Members and business units to enable the delivery of the organizational strategy through positioning people as the key enabler. As an HR Business Partner I have provided strategic guidance within business units, as aligned with the overall people function and strategy, on services, business unit structure and strategy, benefits, policies, and programs within organizations. The bulk of my experience as an HR Business Partner has been in the manufacturing environment where my mandate has been to champion and support the activation of the local Human Resources plan, in line with agreed costs and service levels. Being in the manufacturing space, I have had extensive labour relations exposure, having dealt with a variety of employee unions (e.g. NUM, NUMSA NUFBWSAW & Solidarity) and facilitated union-management engagements. I also have had experience representing the company at CCMA and also having recently partnered the business in wage negotiations. I also have also provided HR expertise in partnering the business manage change and implementation in terms of Section 197 and Section 189 of the Labour Relations Act. My role has also extended to the African continent where I have provided coaching, support and influence that enable the business to effectively deliver their people plans in the achievement of both business and HR strategies across the African continent.
