I have a MSc. (Masters) Degree in Biotechnology (Cum-laude). I am well organized, highly motivated individual and have excellent communication skill. In addition, I have attended different training programmes for sample preparation and using MALDI TOF-TOF (For identification of proteins), HPLC (Identification of phenolic acids) and ICP-OES (Identification of mineral content and heavy metals concentration). I have an undergraduate degree in Biotechnology focusing on Food Microbiology which equipped me with practical skills and knowledge focus on foodborne micro-organisms and their intrinsic and extrinsic factors that affect their growth in food. Also gained knowledge about the microbial standards and criteria for food safety and control of food borne diseases this includes Quality management (ISO 9000) and the prerequisite programme for HACCP. My background also including working with Fusarium pathogen, and the effect of heavy metal contamination on South African indigenous weed crop. I am a hardworking person with the necessary skills of attacking a project by following strict rules and regulation and adhere to given deadlines. I am an active person taking initiative, best in interpersonal communication and have experience working in groups.
