I currently I have a practice based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, offering services to children, adolescents and adults.I started my journey as a teacher and counsellor at a mainstream international school in Thailand after graduating from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Education degree specialising in Human Movement Science, Sports Management and http://www.******.*** need for adventure led me to Cape Town as a teacher and Mathematics specialist at an inclusive school in the Southern Suburbs. I have since worked in a range of settings with many different individuals. I have my honours in education, specialising in Mathematics, from the University of Cape Town, a Diploma in Counselling, Diploma in Child Psychology, Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) and Life Coaching. I have been trained by Dr Rinda Blom in Advanced Sand Tray Therapy and Play Therapy. I have also been trained by Play Therapy International through Leeds Beckett University in the UK, and in July 2019 I will be traveling to Ireland to study Play Therapy further at the University of Galway. I incorporate animal-assisted therapy into therapeutic work with children, adolescents and adults.
