My biggest achievement was when Imperial Logistics sent me to the biggest depot in Johannesburg, Roodepoort, we have a contract with British American Tobacco. I went there to learn how to be a Management Accountant and was promoted to Business Unit Manager in 2 months. Overseeing plus minus 250 warehouse and transport staff. My goal was to reduce overtime in the warehouse and transport. I've made a lot of changes for example moving the clock machine, debriefing the staff to a minimum of time in the morning, getting the transport staff to leave as early as possible etc The warehouse overtime I reduced with plus minus 3500 hours and the transport hours to plus minus 2300 hours. I've learned a lot over the years, because I did not have any qualifications except, Bookkeeping and Pastel Accounting, so I've done all the positions there is in Imperial Logistics under the contract of British American Tobacco to get more exposure and experience like a qualified person. I know all the in's and out's of the operations. Everyday there is always a different, new and challenging problem to solve. The challenging part is what I love, because I love to learn new thing and it is always interesting to see how different problems can be solved
