My name is Minenhle Ngubane and I am a motivated, hardworking and reliable person that works extremely well with others. I building good working relationships and work as effectively individually. I am a very attentive, outspoken person with excellent communication skills and solve problems adequately. I worked as Research Assistant at the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI). I conducted research and wrote reports on the Ecological Infrastructure Challenge Fund under the Biodiversity and Land Use Project. I am currently working as GIS and Remote Sensing Intern at the University of KwaZulu Natal under the Water Research Commission. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Psychology and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Geography specializing in GIS and Remote Sensing. I have vast knowledge and skills ranging from the human to environmental. I have experience working on Ecological Rehabilitation under SANBI as part of the Biodiversity and Land Use Project and have an understanding on how veld and environmental management is paramount. I have extensive GIS skills, from data and Spatial analysis, processing and management. I have experience in soil and water field sampling, monitoring and testing.
