I am Mmakgwadi Mokgabudi, a passionate and dedicated professional with a rich academic background in Urban Studies and Development. I graduated from both University of the Witwatersrand and North-West University, where I earned a master’s degree in Development Studies. During my time at North-West University, I demonstrated strong leadership skills by serving as an academic support officer, a role that allowed me to develop a deep understanding of academic and student needs. My experience as a tutor at Wits further honed my ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and support students in their learning journeys. Recently, I completed an internship at Wits Campus Housing and Residence Life, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in managing and improving residential facilities. This role not only strengthened my management skills but also provided me with insights into the practical aspects of urban living and community engagement. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed a keen interest in urban management and development. I am committed to contributing to sustainable urban solutions that enhance the quality of life for communities. My diverse experiences have equipped me with a unique blend of leadership, analytical and practical skills that I am eager to apply in my future endeavours.
