I am a recent graduate (Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Hons) Metallurgy and Material engineering) from University of Witwatersrand. During the course of my academic career, I was a teaching assistance for mineral processing this position tested my leadership abilities and also improved them, yet I believe I can gain advance understanding from industrial exposure. I also managed to accrue 2 months working exposure with Anglo American (Kumba Iron Ore, Sishen Mine) in a vacation work role, where I learned valuable professional skills such as process optimization in order to find plant set points and strategic planning to increase plant yield. In my academic life I am known to be adaptable by my peers. I always challenge myself to do the best whether on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills, which I hope I will use and improve in the roles I will be given by the company.
