Fascinated by how infrastructures that were once design concepts have become a reality, led me to choose Civil Engineering as a career path. Civil engineers change the community’s lives for the better, I want to be part of that. Through the leadership & facilitation course I have had, mentoring first years in the Civil Engineering department and Tugwell residence for 4 years, I have gained exceptional transferable skills such as planning, communication, leadership, and teamwork. As a determined individual, I am eager to solve complex problems methodically and logically. Civil engineering studies provides a platform for learning and putting to practice the designing, building, and testing principles of engineering in general. I am greatly interested in broadening my knowledge and skills in transportation, hydraulic and geotechnical engineering, wastewater treatment, urban water management and latest technologies. I simply love to learn!
