In my diesel mechanic career, I have worked on buses, minibusses, and cars which include the following models: Scania, MAN, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Hyundai, Iveco, and Toyota. My duties as a mechanic included preventative maintenance, minor and major services, fault finding, repairs, and breakdowns. I was also responsible for standby duties and maintaining records of repairs and reports. I have a working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workshop safety and Customer Service As part of my career development, I am seeking opportunities in the training and development field which I believe the qualifications I have gathered over the years will contribute positively towards. I have completed my National diploma in Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices, NQF Level 5, and National Certificate in Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices, NQF Level 5. I am registered with MERSETA as an assessor and moderator, ETDP SETA as an assessor and currently waiting for approval on TETA registration. I have sound knowledge of ASSESSOR, MODERATOR, SDF, ODETDP, MERSETA, ETDP, and TETA.
