I have completed a Social Work honours degree in 2019. I have also completed eight courses in Abuse with the Western Cape Department of Education (Metro East Education District) which are Abuse no more Protocol, Signs and Symptoms of abuse, Form 22(official abuse reporting tool), Sexual Grooming, Disclosure, Role Players in Child Protection, Teenage Pregnancy lastly Care and Support for Teaching and Learning . I have also completed courses with the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority in Gender Based Violence Prevention and The Role of Men in Preventing GBV. I have also attended a learning material orientation workshop on the Occupational certificate Social Auxiliary Worker NQF 5. I currently enrolled for my second degree at the University of South Africa which is Bachelor of Education (Foundation Phase). Through studying I have become more confident in delivering Social Work Services. I have good communication skills, customer care, leadership skills, good project management skills, good interpersonal skills, good presentation skills, good knowledge of proposal writing obtained from research studies, implementation and enforcement of relevant legislation and applicable policies. On the 01st December 2020 to 30th November 2021 I got a one-year Employee Health and Wellness internship in the Department of Health at Louis Trichardt Hospital. From 01st December 2021-31st March 2022 I worked as a contract statutory social worker at the Department of Social Development for a period of four months. During the year 2019 l completed a four-month practicum offered by the University of Venda at The Department of Social Development (Louis Trichardt Hospital). In 2016 I volunteered at Takalani Children’s Home for a period of three months. I have good knowledge of Case Work, Group Work and Community Work. Through hard work during my practical’s, volunteering, and studying, l have gained a lot of insight on case work, group work and community work. I work best in both challenging and exciting environments. I have good knowledge of computer which l find is of paramount importance in delivering Social Work services.
