Over the past five years I have assisted in the provision of high level leadership support towards the development of reporting and data collection tools mainly for qualitative research services offered by the Institute of Research and Statistical Services (IRSS) (Zimbabwe). This mainly involved design of the M&E frameworks, procedures, tools and methodologies. In addition, I also assisted the negotiation of information needs and reporting formats with all key stakeholders. My responsibilities included helping in the development of outcome indicators and evaluation methodologies, including baseline information, covering social and biophysical impacts and outcomes. I also assisted in the process of field testing of tools and methods. I provided design and oversight of studies (qualitative), and contracting of research services to other organisations. My responsibilities involved application of research methodologies, conceptual Frameworks and Project Circle Management. I also provided scientific guidance to study design, including development of study protocols, coordination with key clients and data analysis, module and manuscript preparation.
