My name is Mzamo, I have been working in the Manufacturing industry for approximately 3 years, currently as a Process and Data Engineering Technician. My education background is in Mechatronics Engineering and Data Science and Computation from the Nelson Mandela University and the Stellenbosch University respectively, and I also recently graduated in Data Analytics under the ALX Africa Tech Academy. In my current role, analysing and creating Scrap generation and Defect/Blemish tracking dashboards using Power BI. ▪ Diagnosing and reporting on database/server data extraction. ▪ Identifying faulty data extractions and interpretation. ▪ Improve relational database systems using SQL and Python. ▪ Detailed attention on valuable patterns in data. ▪ Improve Excel Spreadsheets for a seamless data extraction pipeline. ▪ Present and communicate the insights and findings from the data trends which contributes to effective solutions based on data-centric matrices. ▪ Gather data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring the upkeep of databases and data systems. ▪ Identify opportunities for process enhancements. ▪ Implement and drive continuous improvement strategies. ▪ Assist in project development and execute project milestones. ▪ Analyse, debug and debug systems, processes and embedded devices. One of my biggest accomplishments was creating a scrap and defect analysis dashboard for management team for a better insight on production, prior to that, I initiated a system called PSM which essentially evaluate 3 pillars of any line of production like, Process, Man, Machine. I have strong skills in process and engineering interpretation, programming and creative solution, and I'm particularly passionate about manufacturing and I believe my background and expertise makes me a great fit for this role.
