With over 5 years in Hospitality, events management and food quality control, I possess the qualities needed to succeed in any work environment. My social skills have also benefited me and my employers in catering the best quality food timeously, my work speaks for itself and I have a passion for learning new things and staying ahead of trends. I love food! both cooking, eating and also mixing my own cocktails at home and while out. This is what makes me love the Hospitality and Tourism industry that I work in, there is so much to still learn, locally and internationally. I am a graduate of the School of Tourism and Hospitality at the University of Johannesburg (South Africa). I began my career as an intern at the 54 on Bath Boutique Hotel working in all the departments, I then spent an additional 6 months as a graduate intern at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosebank Johannesburg. I joined the catering company Open Food Group starting off as a Site Supervisor, catering food to students at Henley Business School. I was then later promoted to International O.R Tambo as a Catering Manager at the Slow lounge, overseeing the production and quality control of food,in 2019 I joined TsAfrika as a Catering Manager managing and overseeing a corporate company's canteen, gaining experience in a managerial role. I am currently on a study break, researching and expanding my knowledge in the Hospitality industry which I am very fond of.
