I have always valued knowledge and education with a particular passion for science and biology. I attended Crawford Lonehill Preparatory as well as the College and after completing my matric year in 2014 I went on to study Archaeology and Criminology at the University of Pretoria. I completed this degree and then spent the following two years mainly working, learning Japanese and obtaining other qualifications such as my TEFL certificate which qualified me to teach English as a foreign language as well as some insurance courses qualifying me to discuss various policies with potential clients. In 2019, I decided to pursue my passion for science and biology and enrolled with the University of South Africa to study Biomedical Sciences with hopes of entering the medical field as a medical scientist and work to research new medicines and treatments for various ailments and disorders. It is also my hope that I can contribute some of my time to working in conservation and helping animals and the environment with particular attention paid to the ocean (another passion of mine). Aside from my studies, I am very invested in fields such as music and various forms of dance and have represented South Africa in the Irish Dance World Championships on several occasions. I have been tutoring for over a year now and have had a variety of students during this time. I mainly tutored high school students in subjects such as Mathematics, English, Physics and Chemistry. I hope to also find some students looking for help with History and Biology as these are subjects I specialised in at my universities and have a particular passion for. Due to the lockdown I’ve transitioned to tutoring online which has been a smooth and efficient method of ensuring the students can continue their lessons.
