My first real IT job Started at Elangeni FET College where I was a IT administrator, doing support at one of their remote sites and supporting students and campus equipment. I then moved to a company called Spotlight as I also wanted to experience software support and I was hired as a Software support consultant. Knowing that I had the knowledge of hardware and software, it was time for me to take on more senior roles. I then moved to a company called Global Network Systems where I was Third Line Support and mostly supported cooperate companies and their server but unfortunately the company was moving in a remote support and they had systems in place (N-Central) that were able to do what we did automatedly. I am now currently at IT Centric doing support team leader and helpdesk Agent. I currently do rollout of projects, scoping of jobs, dividing of tasks for IT technicians that are onsite. I also do project management if there is a project that we are rolling out, meeting with clients onsite and providing excellent client service and a homey feel rather than just consulting. My reason for leaving has nothing to do with management or my job, but merely because the company experienced a knock financially and they had to cut salaries and I am finding myself unable to support my family
