My professional work experience spans across educational, psychological and community settings, and I have sought out opportunities to develop my teaching, psychological and research skills. My career goals and interests are vast, yet interrelated, and include being more involved in psychotherapeutic spaces, academia, community, advocacy, and education. I have significant experience across all these fields, and feel immense passion and joy from the experiences and opportunities that I have had over the years in working with the youth/students, marginalised populations, and women and children. I have also gained knowledge and insight in more academic spaces where I have presented at several international and local conferences, and have journal publications. I have a particular interest in and passion for working in wellness and mental health related fields, where I am able to develop and manage strategies and programmes related to ensuring individual, organisational or community wellbeing. My particular vocational interests centre on empowerment, transformation, and human rights-based matters whereby my intentions focus on alleviating and preventing psychological and societal ill-health. I am also a certified educator and have experience in curriculum development, and workshopping.
