I started working in the Marine Diamond Mining Industry in 1998 and Alluvial Diamond Mining in 2001, and gained extensive experience in the GIS (Geographical Information Systems) environment, as well as MIS (Management Information Systems) in 2016. My software strengths being ArcMAP (ESRI), Microsoft Access, Surfer, SQL Server, Visual Studio and DevExpress. I have sound knowledge in: - Spatial data management; capturing, locating, extracting and analysing geographic data - Development and maintenance of databases needed to accomplish specific tasks - Construction of display material from GIS data - Management, support and maintenance of Information systems I have also done my fair share of GIS training and support to GIS users. Through the years I have also taken on other jobs i.e. Health & Safety Administrator, Risk Management Officer, Newsletter designer and Administrator of the Contracts Management System. I have a Diploma in Graphics Design from College and completed Fundamentals of Risk Management from the University of Stellenbosch short courses. I am ambitious, approachable and a good team player. My efficiency helps me achieve my objectives on time, with excellence and with a smile.
