Currently I work for Bokamoso Environmental Consultant in a role where I provide specialist ecological support, carry out environmental assessments, visiting endangered sites to assess damage, conducting public participation and create restoration plans and give environmental advice to those who ask for it. I am responsible for creating sensitive maps of flora and faunal species for each project appointed to me. I also play a critical role within the company in developing and delivering the strategic communications framework needed to build and engage with stakeholders. I am the Independent Environmental Control Officer for multiple sites for residential, industrial and agricultural developments. I am involved with ensuring compliance of the authorised development with conditions set out in various licences and authorisations which include Environmental Authorisations (EA), Water Use Licences (WUL), General Authorisations (GA) and mitigation measures included in the Environmental Management Programmes (EMPr). I manage projects of consulting assignments ranging from screening of ecological sensitivity, impact assessments, due diligence studies and reporting on biodiversity and compliance audits over a broad range of terrestrial, aquatic and marine environments. I have developed verbal and written communications skills and I am currently involved in Administrative duties for example, I coordinate transport bookings of the company car on a rotational basis. As you can see from my attached CV I have experience of driving energy efficiency initiatives.
