I have worked with processing purchase orders, processing receipts as well as invoices. I manage all the subcontractor invoices and statements and make sure their reconciliations are done before payment date and up to date. I manage and monitor the diesel tanks throughout all the depots, to ensure that all accounts are paid and up to date as well as process the reconciliations to make sure transactions are balanced. With regards to the cashbook, I process the payments that have already been made and double check that the payments to balance with the bank statement. With an academic background in Accounting and the practical experience I have received thus far, I feel that I have acquired the correct combination of qualitative and analytical skills required to succeed in a profession. This field of work has allowed for me to develop the appropriate skills to further my studies in order to keep my knowledge up to standard. I am currently enrolled with CIMA – Charted Institute of Management Accountants doing my operational level (still in progress) to qualify as a Management Accountant.
