My name is Nkosilathi Dube. I am currently employed as a Corporate Finance Analyst with Progility Consult. I hold a Bachelor degree with Honours in Financial Management from Rhodes University. My education prepared me for a career in finance through training in Financial Management, Investment Management and Risk Management, augmented by research. I possess strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, which I have acquired throughout my education and career. I pride myself in paying attention to the finest detail in my quest to achieve high quality of work. My goal is to perform the technical, quantitative and qualitative aspects of analysis, at a higher level and in a more advanced and larger capital market than I am currently exposed to. I believe this would provide me with an exciting challenge that will lead me to career fulfilment. My professional career started at ClucasGray as a Financial Analyst Trainee where I performed equity research, fundamental analysis and valuations. Subsequently, I was employed at Louw & Company, a Working Capital Financing firm where I achieved a 20% return on ZAR500 000 worth of investments as a Financier/Analyst. Currently, my work involves financial modelling, forecasting, valuations, deal structuring and financial reporting, amongst other duties. I am part of a team that is concluding the restructuring of a ZSE listed firm from a Pharmaceuticals firm into a listed Private Equity firm with multiple classes of shares.
