I am an experienced and goal-oriented HR professional who had assumed various HR positions throughout my career e.g. an Executive Management; Operational HR Generalist/HR Business Partnering and Specialist positions. I have a track record of leading an HR team; involved in strategic and operational People Management issues. I have remarkable strategic and critical thinking skills and the ability to mentor, consult, and work directly with senior managers to translate the needs of the business into HR strategies and actions. I have obtained experience in the strategic development of the implementation of an HR Business Plan. I have interacted and presented HR matters to the Board of the Company, to the Remunerations Committee; Audit and Risk Committee and the Executive Management Committee (Exco). I am a leader who has managed the HR team to support the achievement of overall corporate goals and objectives. I am output driven, able to work independently and in a team, works well under pressure and solution driven. I have obtained HR experience from various industries i.e. tourism; financial banking; SETA’s; private healthcare; short-term insurance; and Engineering and Manufacturing. My highest qualification is Masters in Business Leadership and I have also attended various courses to advance various skills in my career e.g. Strategy Execution, Transformation/BBBEE; Payroll and Tax; etc. Some of the HR Strategic activities I've done includes: compiling the Divisional HR Strategy aligned to the Group HR Strategy and implementation operationally. Providing strategic advice and guidance to the Executive Management team on all People Management aspects. Responsible for providing overall strategic leadership/managing the entire HR function which includes: Talent Management, Talent acquisition/recruitment; EE/Transformation; Workforce Planning; Labour/Employee Relations, Learning Development, Employee Wellness, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Payroll, Budget Management; Change Management, and overall HR Projects.
