I am a talented, commercially focused, forward thinking and determined qualified Chartered Accountant (obtained my SAICA Board I and II exams first time), with 5 years post articles experience. I have also passed my CIMA Strategic Case Study, making me eligible to register as a CGMA. I have an extensive background in IFRS, Corporate Finance and Tax, as I spent a substantial time during my training at Transnet Group, where all the Operating Divisions’ financial information is consolidated. After completing my articles, I was retained at Transnet Capital Integration and Assurance Department as a Business Analyst. I thereafter moved on to become a Chief Operations Officer of an NGO, where I was assisting Start-up Businesses with Business Plans. I then gained more experience as a Financial Manager of a Facilities Management entity, where I was responsible for the overall end-to-end Financial Reporting function. Because of my drive to learn more, I was seconded to a PPP Contact with the Department of Statics SA, to represent the interests of Servest as an Operations Subcontractor in the PPP Agreement. I thereafter moved on to Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa, where I initially worked on a Mergers and Acquisitions Project, responsible for all IT ERP Integration Project Financial Management transactions. Post completion of the SAP Integration Project, I was seconded to a Business Integrated Project as a Finance Lead, where all workstreams such as Logistics, Manufacturing and Commercial integrate to introduce a new pack in South Africa. I am currently a CFO for Pule Incorporated Attorneys, where I am in charge of the Financial Strategy and providing guidance to the Board of Directors. I have a deep interest in Project Finance, Technical Accounting Advisory, Business Analysis, Small Business Coaching and Academic Development. I am a member of Non-Profit Organisation, registered under the name “Ubumbano Community Development Programme”, of which I hold the Treasurer’s position. I have also recently joined a SAICA, OYW and CAW Initiative, as a FINBIZ2030 Taskforce member, to deliver on SDG8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, as part on the Unite2030 Global Goals delivery. This is where we are researching the establishment of the Global Business Services (“GBS”), as part of localising the Shared Services that are currently housed outside South Africa.
