ISO 9001 • Sales and marketing (compiling tenders and other customers enquiries) • Manage new project and engineering specification testing. • Develop bill of materials and formulate product costing quotations. • Liaise with licensors/customers to obtain timeous technical information and ensure its relevant utilization in product and process design and development. • Assess products in view of design improvements and cost reduction. • Jig and Fixture/Tooling conceptualization development and industrialization • Lead OEE activity in allocated focus area and process scrap reduction • 2D & 3D Modeling of the product, jig and fixtures on solid works • New process commissioning, work instruction, visual aids, monitoring strategy • Six sigma methodology, DMAIC Technique for problem solving. • 8 pillars of Total productive maintenance • Identification of risks and possible errors from many different sources, which are Man, Methods, Material, Machinery, Measurement and Environment. • Production continuous improvement • New product design, prototyping, testing according to IEC &SANS standards, process design and quality management. • Critical analysis, looking at the function of the component, failure mode and effects analysis and strategy to controls those risks. • Possible failure modes on the new product/process • Knowledge in gravitational SG casting, Aluminum casting, injection moulding of silicone, pultrusion process (fiber glass& resin compound), automated production lines and CNC machines.
