I am a diligent and motivated geographic information system (GIS) analyst who holds a bachelor of Social Science degree in Geography and Environmental Management. Also with demonstrated experience in performing GIS projects within the state institution Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA KwaZulu-Natal) as an intern. I have acquired extensive knowledge and comprehension of project management within the field through the study of geography and environmental management at a degree level and present work experience in the GIS field as I assist with management of ArcGIS Online services and maps. I have the ability to maintain data and create maps in a GIS mapping system. Additionally, I have strengthened my skills in the working environment with a lot of experience involving a multitude of different task, such as having the ability to focus on and complete tasks with attention to detail and organization. I have productively and successfully fulfilled projects that need GIS skills in the Department of CoGTA such as ArcGIS software, data creation, Map production, Editing Vector property maps, Documentations & reporting and Quality improvement processes. I am experienced in ESRI ArcGIS (10.4-10.7, and ArcGIS Pro) suites, MS Access, MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and the general computer literacy.
