Currently I am working as a Librarian for Webber Wentzel Inc. I hold the following qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences and Bachelor of Information Sciences(Hons.) . I am very passionate about the legal industry, corporate governance, risk and regulatory compliance. My current role encompasses the following functions and responsibilities (including but not limited to): Use of Library Management System to manage incoming information resources through maintaining accurate records. Providing current awareness by supporting specified legal teams through monitoring and notifications on latest legal developments. Assisting fee- earners with tracking news developments related to clients, sectors, countries etc. Support Candidate Attorneys(CAs) and fee-earners with complex and ad hoc legal research. I provide training to CAs and fee-earners on the appropriate use of legal research resources. Support Business Development Department with appropriate assistance and training as required. Assist with the development and maintenance of Intranet resources, either using SharePoint or the Library Management System. Engage proactively with fee-earners to identify and support their information needs. Provide administrative support for various library functions as required.
