With over 15 years’ experience as a PA, I have been fortunate to have worked in a variety of industries, gathering the knowledge and skills that make me not only competent, but also confident in what I do. I am a perfectionist and believe the quality of work presented is a direct reflection of how one views life. I do not believe in doing a task just for the sake of it; instead it is essential that one understands why a task is being performed and how it fits into a project or organisation in order to achieve optimal results, thus adding real value to one’s work environment. Working as a PA and Office manager I have learnt to not only manage my time but also manage people by being the middle person and having to convey instructions from my manager and delegating them to staff, keeping track of their performance and ensuring that they deliver what is needed on time. I believe that as a PA you have to know and understand what your manager does so that you are able to think on your feet without guidance when need be. I am a bubbly extrovert and get along well with my colleagues and peers and am able to adjust to any situation or environment. I am focused and can fully immerse myself into a project and am not easily distracted. I tend to have high expectations of myself and push myself to succeed at any task presented to me. I am detail-orientated and an analytical thinker. I think the best quality work is delivered when an individual understands the reasons for doing a task, and where it fits into the order of events. I consider myself to be driven and results-focused, to have strong organizational skills, and love the thrill of a challenge. I perform well under pressure and am able to detach myself from my surroundings when required in order to complete the task at hand. Thank you for considering me! :)
