This experience started as an Army recruit in the South African Defence Force where as my training as an Instructor and Platoon Leader gave me the foundation to build on for managing and working with people in a security or high risk environment. Working and living sometimes in many different countries around the world has given me the ability to understand cultural differences and insight on how to be diplomatic in many different as well as difficult situations. My attention to detail and logistics co-ordination and planning ability is a strength that has allowed me to, during the Soccer World Cup in South Africa manage the security and logistics for over 3700 people moving around the country to various venues and Soccer games. Ensuring their protection and safety as well as making sure all processes ran without a problem. Apart from my logistics ability, I am as capable in performing on the physical level when it comes to Special Security Operations or protecting my clients. Standing for 14 hours outside a door or carrying a full battle load over long distances in extreme temperatures or terrain is something I am still, through mental and physical conditioning, well capable of doing. I have had the privilege of protecting some of the worlds most important as well as wealthiest people, from UN Ambassadors to Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. Including their children, some as young as five years old. Each reference or report given with regards my assignments have been exceptional. For the position I am applying for I am well suited.
