I am recent capacity as Fitter for MA automotive tool and die . I was able to significantly expand my skill-set. My responsibilities: Install and Maintain mechanical and hydraulic press machines. Changing Pneumatic valves, hydraulic valves, hydraulic power packs, hydraulic cylinders, Pneumatic cylinders. Reading mechanical and pnuematic drawings. Adjust the cylinder sensors for strong signals on machines. Strip and assemble the press machines and gearboxes Repair and maintain Sport welders, Seam welders and Co2 welder machinery. Maintain and change gearboxes for motor on belt conveyors and chain conveyors Install and maintain pumps and heat exchangers. Doing day to day Preventative maintenance the whole plant. Install and maintain gearboxes, Change bearings, gears, shafts for tubemill machines. Install, maintain and servicing the bearing box for tubemill machines, strip and assemble the gearboxes and bearing boxes. Make sure air compressor is working properly. Make sure the is no air or oil leaks inside the plant. Make sure the gas is accurate for welding machines. Make sure tools and workshop is clean and maintained. Check and measure oil in all machines Repair, service and set thread roller machine Repair and service Cropper machines Caused me to develop my skills in particular.
