I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Stellenbosch (USB), a Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Bachelors of Technology in Project Management both from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. I am registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). With vast knowledge and experience in the power generation sector (coal, nuclear and renewable) coupled with experience in engineering, advisory, policy and strategy within the energy industry – namely, oil, gas and power. Phemelo has over 14 years’ experience in the energy sector working for multinational energy and utility companies, including Actom and Eskom. My previous work experience includes: -Actom John Thompson (Steam Generator Power Plant) -EDF EN (South Africa) (Renewable Energy Developer), -Airports Company South Africa (South Africa Transport Utility) -Eskom Capital Expansion (South Africa Electricity Utility) I have managed numerous EPCM projects in the following countries: South Africa, Mozambique, Uganda, Kenya , Namibia ,South Sudan, Ghana, Tanzania, Grenade, Madagascar and Zimbabwe.
