I am currently employed as a Junior shift supervisor at Fraser Alexander. I accumulated experience in coal preparation, supervision and Operations control for 3-4 years within mining sector. at I started my professional career at Fraser Alexander from September 2017 to August 2018 in Witbank, as a Trainee Metallurgist (P1P2) where I was involved in a number of test works and quality control & assurance (QAQC) of the final product. The test-works I performed were mainly to improve recovery of magnetite, reduce flocculant consumption, optimising thickening efficiency and to maximize production yield. In August 2018 I was absorbed as a Plant Attendant until March 2019 where I got promoted to Junior shift Supervisor position until recently. My duties involve coal washing, enforcing safety, Quality control, resolving & investigating the client & customer complaints, people management, and plant support and monitoring and troubleshooting the DMS plant and recommending remedies. I enjoy working individually, in Groups, taking leadership roles and responsibilities.
