Dear Sir/Madam, I am glad to introduce myself to you as a 31-year-old admitted attorney who has acquired valuable legal experience in various legal departments. My 7-year post qualification experience puts me in a position where I can add value to your organisation as I can work in the office or at the Magistrates/High Court. I previously worked in public sector as I completed my articles at Legal Aid South Africa where dealt with the following; bail applications of various criminal matters, criminal trials, appeals and maintenance cases. I also had the pleasure of working in the private sector at companies like LegalWise, Clientele and Retrenchment Assist. I was exposed to various legal issues whilst I worked as a legal advisor and I’m able to conduct research on legal matters to sharpen my legal skills. I am organised and skilful in diary management. My qualifications and colourful work experience makes me a suitable candidate for this position. I am a ‘go-getter’ and would like to obtain a Masters degree in future.
