I have a vast amount of experience in deep level gold, platinum, and chrome in the South African mining industry. Working with highly motivated crews, service departments and committed management teams our best performance was achieving 7845 ca`s and 387 meters in a platinum section at Western Platinum mines. My teams and I received multiple awards for safety, amongst others (***)-***-**** FOG fatality free plus 2 000 000 fatality free shifts at the same time. An industry record at the time. I work well under pressure, I am highly involved in the mining cycle, managing my people with passion and dedication as people are our most important asset. I treat individuals with dignity and respect, embracing the diversity of the workforce. My aim is to work with the next generation, contributing to skills shortages and to help the younger generation to develop and grow and to ensure we have a workforce with mining-relevant skills into the future and for the benefit of the company.
