I am currently employed at NCP Chlorchem in the capacity of Purchasing Manager. My Procurement experience started as a storeman driving forklifts in warehouses at Hillside Aluminium in Richards Bay and progressed to various Procurement positions as a Buyer, Senior Buyer, Procurement Manager, Logistics Manager, Group Procurement Manager and now as Purchasing Manager at NCP Chlorchem. I have worked in and lead diverse teams ranging from 3 up to 25 employees from a variety of industries like Grinaker LTA (mining), Denel Naschem (military/defence), BHP Billiton (aluminium smelter), Gauteng Shared Services Centre, Services (Government sector), Seta (Government sector), Primador (PG Group Company), Sasol Wax (manufacturing), Engen Petroleum (refinery), SAAB Grintek (military/defence). My strengths include my ability to problem solve, adaptability, and leading diverse teams. My management style is direct, to the point, and sometimes democratic.
