I have studied Hotel Management and i do have a diploma in travel and tourism. I have worked with on the premises laundry and outsourced laundries. I have a good understanding of laundry machines, the maintenance of it. I have worked in 5 star hotels for 6 years and in a 3 star hotel as a Laundry Manager for 9 years with my own company staff as well as contract staff. i have opened two hotels, a 5 star and a 4 star unit successfully. My experience was gained mostly with Southern Sun Hotels. I have worked with Legacy Hotels and Crowne Plaza. It is the most memorable welcome by the Doorman who is the key player of the Concierge Department that will reflect the true image of the hotel. My experience in travel and with guest interaction is a key factor in the anticipation and managing of guest requests. Training is ongoing for staff which is what I thoroughly thrive on. As a qualified Assessor, I fully understand what it means to communicate exactly what the company policies and procedures are.
