At a glance, my resume may indicate that my skill set is nautically orientated but all of my training, development and experience translate very easily to a land-based operation such as yours. Following my departure from Debmarine Namibia, a former Vessel Manager (Johann Botha) in his capacity as Head of Trawling and Operations at Irvin and Johnson, awarded me a three month contract to address production performance and safety deficiencies in their fishing fleet. This stint proved to be very successful, thus compounding my belief in my communicative, administrative and organizational skills. Needless to say, life at sea has ensured that Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Awareness and Security became an intrinsic part of my work ethic while my prowess at first aid and fire-fighting could prove invaluable in any production environment . I am very happily married and I am blessed with extremely good health, in spite of my advanced years, thanks to a sporting (ex provincial athlete & water polo player) and outdoor lifestyle.
