I am a diligent recent university graduate, BSC in Nutrition from the University of Venda. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to acquire one year of work experience .I had the privilege of working with South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC) as an NRF nutrition intern role in my free time, where I have learned valuable professional skills such as data collection, fieldworker supervisor, helping with training in some projects and conducting the 24hour recall interview. In both my academic and professional life, I have been consistently praised as focused by my peers and my supervisors. I also got a chance to work at SSISA-UCT as a research assistant where in I was helping in screening of participants and informed consent procedures ,recruitment and retention of participants through email, phone and home visits, scheduling and coordinating of research activities and testing .Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional project, I apply proven interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills, which I hope to pull into the clinical research worker role at your department.
