I hold a BEng (Chemical Engineering) in chemical engineering from the University of Stellenbosch, as well as an MSc(Eng)(Hydrometallurgy) from the University of Stellenbosch. I worked at Anglo American Kumba Iron Ore for 5 years, on a mineral beneficiation plant. I have also worked at the Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology in Germany as a researcher in pyrometallurgy. I am available for research opportunities on a contract basis, or for technical writing jobs. I have published several technical papers in peer reviewed scientific journals.
