My career interests over the years included management consulting, property investment, convenience retail and fuel retail, which spans over a period for 11 years in public sector and private sector. The challenges faced was ultimately to remain relevant and value-adding. Keeping on the pulse of trends, technology, customer needs in these competitive industries have been the tools used to remain on point. One of the acheivements that was being selected to represent DOE on the National Electricity Response Team mandated by the Presidency, In addition to this was being closely involved in the start-up of an Engen site, from construction to the opening of the site. My progressive experience in the public and financial sector has cultivated strong verbal and communication skills, dealing with a variety of customers, staff members and employees. I am self-motivated and adjust easily to innovative concepts and tasks. My experience includes, but is not limited to the following; On site project management along with proper quality control measures for ensuring the entire project finish on time and due budget. Provide necessary coordination and planning for contractors along with the subcontractors. Ensure effective performance monitoring and control of management function. Carried out budget preparation and budget management for projects to the value of R1.2billion for the Department of Energy Extracting financial data from various accounting and information systems; Developing management tools to measure and analyse financial and operational information including financial ratios, budget model and management reports Performing statistical, cost and financial analysis of financial reports and data, and preparing subsequent narrative analysis for management. Conducting studies to improve the financial effectiveness of the business;
