I am an Electrical Technician. I currently hold a South African Nation Diploma in Instrumentation and Process Control Engineering and enrolled for a B-Tech in the same field. I am a vibrant, hard-working young woman who is determined to head towards her destiny. A fast leaner always willing to absorb knowledge in every area as much as possible. I marvel at the prospect of being in an area conducive to both my professional and personal development. My goal is to be the best technician/technologist/engineer I can possible be. My exposure to the industry has revived the passion of engineering I never knew I had. This has brought a broader understanding of how industrial companies work. Having worked in my previous placement (Control and Automation In-service Trainee at Coca-Cola Canners of Southern Africa) has made me realize the need of young innovative and vibrant engineers and technicians in these companies. It has exposed me to the different manufacturing processes and machines (blender, filler, capper or CSW, kister, palletiser etc.) used in the FMCG industry to bring about the final products. It has exposed me to the different components connected together in order for the machines to work. I have become experienced in some of the most important equipment and components in the industry like the PLC, VSDs etc. I have learnt good techniques to go about fault finding and troubleshooting different technical breakdowns. I have learnt to read and understand important electrical documents like electrical diagrams and P&IDs. It has taught me the importance of quality and techniques used to ensure good quality products. My cores strengths include, but not limited to: Team player. Being able to communicate effectively with people. Being an ambassador for the company at all times.
