• Developed Employee Relations strategy and conducts Employee Relations training for Managers and general work force to create conducive employee relations climate • Design and implement proactive approach to bring stability to the business. • Handle CCMA matters (Conciliation, Arbitration, reviews, Condonations, Rescission and Mediation) • Manage internal Dispute resolution process including Grievance procedures, disciplinary process and appeals • Negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements with the unions • Assist in dispute resolution involving employees, management and unions • Conduct and managing labour matters such as restructuring of the business • Coach, mentor and guide Managers on people management issues and on the application of the disciplinary code • Handling retrenchments (i.e. 189 & 189A) • Handling transfer of business as a going concern (i.e. s 197 transfers) • Handling industrial action
