As an entry-level freelance agent, I would like to offer clients the opportunity to benefit from my skills in the following fields, proofreading, data capture and transcription. I currently volunteer as treasurer for the Farmers Association in Mazabuka. My duties include monthly bookkeeping, financial reports, communication with members online, maintaining the group email account and overseeing any community projects that the Association is involved in. With 20+ years' experience in the South African Accounting Sector, I am well suited to providing a professional and accurate service to clients in all sectors. I am experienced in a range of fields including data capture, proofreading financial and business documents. I have basic typing experience. My skills include an eye for detail, consistency and the ability to work to a schedule. These skills as well as being organised enable me to deliver projects on time. During the time I lived in South Africa I ran my own bookkeeping business which gave me valuable experience in all aspects of business operation. At present, I am updating my skills by doing online typing, transcription and proofreading courses. In order to gain experience in these fields, I would consider doing volunteer work for small businesses and charities.
